...::Not an athlete, not an entertainer-- what's going on here???

We congratulate the Disney Channel for the kid cartoon show "Doc McStuffins." In it, a little Black girl runs a clinic for ailing toys, and she wants to grow up to be a ... doctor. Wow. This is as refreshing an idea as "Sesame Street" was back in the day. I predict that Black parents will eat it up, just as they did "Sesame Street." Even little Black boys are gonna love it. You watch.

Now, how about a cartoon in which a little Black *boy* goes around his neighborhood fixing things-- other kids' bikes, leaky waterhoses, kid arguments, all that. And since he is good at fixing things, he wants to grow up to be... President.
